Optical methods of generation and detection of ultrasound wave in thin-wall structures
Trnka, Jan ; Landa, Michal
Double pulse holointerferometry and laser interferometry were used to study guided waves propagation in thin-wall structures. The full-field visualisation of the displacements caused by generated waves was carried out by DPHI with ruby laser like a s ce of light and the source of quided waves in different time after impact. The time history of displacements and velocities was detected noncontactly in the points on the surface by vibrometr Polytec.
Heat transfer efficiency of impinging jets
Pražák, Josef ; Mocikat, H. ; Herwig, H.
The experiments with the impinging air jets are referred to. The attention is paid to the comparison of the heat transfer efficiency. The comparison with free convection is discussed and explicit formulas are introduced.
Some remarks on collapse-models of cavitation bubbles
Bayer, Zdeněk
The paper refers to the Rayleighs models of cavitation bubble dynamics. For the latter one the influence of the state of water, water vapor, air and of theirs physical properties as well as their constants is checked up.
Interaction of viscous incompressible fluid and elastic vocal folds
Damašek, Alexandr ; Burda, P.
Paper analyses numerical computations of vibrations of vocal folds and their interaction with flowing air using the finite element method.
Identification of parameters of mechanical systems with dissipation layer
Pešek, Luděk
The contribution deals with identification of parameters of non-linear reological couplings, which are used for numerical modelling of a dissipation layer. The layer is considered as elastomeric. The methodology for this identification is herein presented and tested on the study case of circular ring on visco-elastic layer cushioning. As a non-linear contribution to the elastic force of this coupling the cubic function was used.
Buckling of shells by FEM
Krásný, I. ; Leština, J. ; Plešek, Jiří
Methods presented in the paper: non-linear analyses, the results are real stability limits: classical anal., the results are ideal stability limits which must be reduced by coefficients reflecting the differences between the ideal and real stability l
Numerical implementation of generalized non-linear kinematic hardening rule for elastic-plastic constitutive equations
Papuga, J. ; Plešek, Jiří
The Armstrong-Frederick and Chaboche models were generalized in the framework of non-linear kinematic hardening theory. A procedure for solving the hardening evolution law was implemented within the PMD FEM package. Both the generalized constitutive ml and the way of implementation as well as the differences between the three types of hardening rules are reported in detail.
